Corrections
How we handle errors in our published content, and the full log of every correction we have made to date.
How to submit a correction
If you believe we have published an inaccurate claim, please email corrections@thehrtindex.com or use our contact page. Include the page URL, the specific claim that is inaccurate, and — wherever possible — a source the editorial team can use to verify the correction. Reader submissions are the single most useful way we improve the published record, and we take them seriously.
Our correction process
- Acknowledge. We confirm receipt of the correction request within five business days and tell the submitter whether the matter is being escalated for review.
- Verify. The editorial team checks the original source material and any new sources provided. Where the matter involves a clinical claim, we escalate to a qualified clinician when available. If no clinician is available, we remove, narrow, or label the claim more cautiously until it can be reviewed.
- Update. If a correction is warranted, the affected page is updated. A visible “Updated: [date]” stamp is added to the page, and the correction is logged on this page with the date, the page affected, and a short description of what changed.
- Notify. Where the original submitter provided contact information, we let her know what we did.
