The clinicians who review medically reviewed content for The HRT Index. This page is updated as the review board is constituted.
The honest note
The HRT Index is currently onboarding clinical reviewers for our medical review board. The candidate pool includes:
- NCMP-credentialed menopause practitioners (the Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner credential).
- OB/GYNs with menopause specialty experience.
- Family-medicine and internal-medicine physicians with documented menopause-management practice.
- Nurse practitioners and physician assistants with women's health practice, with preference for NCMP credential holders.
- Clinical pharmacists (PharmD) with women's hormone therapy expertise, for content focused on prescribing, pharmacology, and interactions.
To be considered for the review board, please reach the editorial team at our contact pageand select “Medical reviewer application” in the inquiry-type field.
Until the board is fully constituted, pages without clinical review are labelled clearly as “Editorial research — not medically reviewed.” See our medical review policy for the full rules on review labelling.
