Medical Review Status

The HRT Index does not currently have clinically reviewed pages. This page will be updated when named reviewers join the review process.

The HRT Index does not currently have active clinical reviewers. Until a named reviewer is listed and a page carries the label “Clinically reviewed by [Name, Credentials],” every page on this site should be treated as editorial research, not medical review.

We do not use anonymous medical review, invented review boards, fake credentials, or implied clinician approval. Pages without clinical review are labeled plainly: “Editorial research — not medically reviewed.”

What clinical review will mean on this site

When clinical review is active, a page will be labeled “Clinically reviewed by [Full Name, Credentials]” with the review date in the byline. The reviewer's profile on this page will include name, credentials, clinical discipline, relevant specialty, menopause-specific credential if held (The Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, MSCP), review scope, and a conflict-of-interest disclosure.

Clinical review means the reviewer read the page for medical accuracy, appropriate safety framing, and consistency with current clinical guidance. It does not create a clinician-patient relationship and is not a substitute for individualized medical care.

Reviewer qualifications we are recruiting for

  • Physicians (MD or DO) holding The Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) credential, with active practice in menopause management.
  • OB/GYNs with menopause specialty experience or fellowship training.
  • Family-medicine and internal-medicine physicians with documented menopause-management practice.
  • Nurse practitioners and physician assistants with women's health practice, with preference for MSCP credential holders.
  • Clinical pharmacists (PharmD) with women's hormone therapy expertise, for content focused on prescribing, pharmacology, and interactions.

To be considered, please reach the editorial team at our contact pageand select “Medical reviewer application” in the inquiry-type field. See our medical review policy for the full rules on review labeling.
